Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-22 · in force from 22 October 2026

1. Who we are

KB.PUB is operated by Sergei Vronskii, a sole trader in the United Kingdom, trading as "KB.PUB" ("we", "us"). Contact: contact@kb.pub. Legal notices: legal@kb.pub. Our postal address for legal notices is available on request from legal@kb.pub and will be published on this page.

"You" means the person using the services and, where you act for a business (for example a dental practice), that business. You must be at least 18 to create an account.

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to:

  • the KB.PUB platform: the public directory and content on kb.pub and its subdomains;
  • the Clinic Website service: a website for your practice with an AI assistant that answers visitors' questions and collects booking requests for you, managed in your KB.PUB account ("the Service");
  • demos and free accounts of the Service;
  • our other products and paid features described in section 5, such as courses and tests, AI-generated recipes, the résumé assistant, and business, event and property listings.

Our Privacy Policy, Refund and Guarantee Policy and, for customers of the Service, the Data Processing Addendum form part of these terms.

3. Demos and free accounts

A demo is a website we prepare from information your practice has already published, so that you can see the Service working. A demo runs on a temporary kb.pub address, is hidden from search engines and is deleted 30 days after it is created unless you subscribe. Viewing a demo is free and creates no obligation.

If you ask to edit a demo, we create a free account for your e-mail address. With it you can change the demo's content until the demo expires. A free account does not put the demo on your own domain and does not make it visible to search engines.

We prepare demos only from information that is publicly available. If you want a demo of your practice removed, write to contact@kb.pub and we will delete it.

4. Clinic Website subscription and payment

The Clinic Website subscription costs US$149 per month, plus any taxes that apply. It is paid in advance through our payment provider, Stripe, and renews every month until you cancel. We do not see or store your full card number.

You can cancel at any time by replying to any of our e-mails or writing to contact@kb.pub. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; your site stays live until then. Except as described in the Refund and Guarantee Policy, payments are not refundable.

We will give you at least 30 days' notice by e-mail before changing the price of your subscription. The new price applies from your next payment after the notice period; you may cancel before then.

5. Other products and paid features

Besides the Clinic Website service, KB.PUB offers other products, for example online courses and tests, AI-generated recipes, the résumé assistant (Job Helper), and listings of businesses, events and property for rent. For each paid product, the page where you buy it shows the price, what you get and whether it is a one-off payment or a subscription; that description forms part of these terms.

  • Subscriptions renew until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Your right to cancel as a consumer. If you buy as a consumer in the UK or the EU, the law may give you 14 days to cancel. For digital content or a service you ask us to provide straight away (for example a generated résumé or access to a course), that right ends once we have started, where the law allows this and you have agreed to it.
  • AI-generated content (recipes, résumés, summaries, answers) is produced automatically and can be wrong or unsuitable. Check it before you rely on it — for example ingredients and allergens in a recipe, or the facts in a résumé you send to an employer. You are responsible for how you use it.
  • Listings. If you publish a listing (a business, an event or a property), you are responsible for its accuracy and lawfulness and for having the right to publish it. We are not a party to any agreement between you and the people who answer a listing (for example a tenancy or a purchase), and we do not check listings unless we say so.
  • Courses, tests and certificates are for learning and information. A certificate from KB.PUB is not an accredited qualification unless the course page says otherwise.

6. The AI assistant

The assistant is an automated system powered by a third-party AI model. It answers from the information in your account (services, prices, hours, doctors and similar), but it can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. In particular:

  • it does not give medical, dental or emergency advice and must not be relied on for it; for such questions it offers to pass the visitor's request to your team;
  • the chat window tells visitors that it is an AI assistant, that it does not give medical advice, that they should not share health details and that in an emergency they should call 911;
  • you are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and on your site, including prices and opening hours, and for answering the booking requests it passes to you.

7. Health information

The Service is meant for questions about your practice and for booking requests (name, contact details and a preferred time). It is not designed to receive or store protected health information, such as diagnoses, treatment details or insurance numbers, and you must not set it up to ask for them. The assistant does not ask for health details, and the chat window asks visitors not to share them.

We are not a "business associate" under the US Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and we do not sign business associate agreements. If your practice needs one for this kind of service, do not use the Service until we have agreed otherwise in writing.

8. Your content and data

You keep all rights in the content you add (texts, prices, photos, logos). You give us a licence to host, display and process it as needed to provide the Service, and to show your demo to you.

For personal data of the visitors of your site (their messages, names and contact details) you are the controller and we are your processor, as set out in the Data Processing Addendum. How we handle personal data for our own purposes is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Acceptable use

You must not use the services to publish unlawful, false or misleading information, to infringe anyone's rights, to send spam, or to interfere with, scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the platform. You must keep your password confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorised use of your account.

10. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the services available but provide them "as is" and "as available", without a guaranteed uptime. We may improve, change or withdraw features. If a change materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused part of your current period.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, patients, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

Where you use the services as a consumer, you also have the rights the law gives you, and nothing in these terms affects them.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or is not paid, giving notice where we reasonably can. When an account or a subscription ends, we delete your site and its data within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something longer; you can ask us for an export before that.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Every edition is published on this page with its version and date, and earlier editions stay available in the change log.

  • Minor changes (clarifications, corrections, contact details) take effect when published.
  • Material changes (for example to prices, liability, the guarantee or how we use data) are announced by e-mail at least 30 days before they take effect. When you next sign in after that date we ask you to accept the new edition; until you do, your account stays available in view-only mode. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect without any penalty.

14. Transfer

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to a company we set up or control to run the services, provided your rights under these terms are not reduced. We will tell you if this happens.

15. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.
